Allan Oloo Photo large17 years old, attending St. Constantine's International School, Arusha, Tanzania. Allan was awarded a Beacon Scholarship in June 2021.

Since starting at St Constantine’s, Allan has worked tirelessly to transition to A-levels in his chosen subjects of Physics, Biology and Chemistry. He has developed his thinking and methodology to meet the academic challenges ahead of him and is proactive with extra-study where required.

Allan has shown commitment and enthusiasm to a wide range of activities this year. He is an active sportsman and has been a key member of the U19 football team, as well as playing volleyball, touch rugby, and frisbee. He is a successful athlete representing both his House and School and has been active with the school production backstage team.

Allan’s super-power is his social influence, and over the course of the year, he has shown a willingness and aptitude for leadership in the numerous roles he has taken: Deputy House Captain, Secretary of the service council, and part of the school leadership council. He encourages people to be the best they can be and is clearly burgeoning as a Changemaker.

An engaged citizen, Allan demonstrates real commitment to his fellow-students and those around him. He initiates and contributes to service and citizenship projects around the school such as fundraisers and clean-ups. His involvement with the Dorcas Christian Mission was well executed and documented and showed Allan’s involvement in projects outside of school.
