Beacon Scholarships are awarded annually, and must be renewed every year. There are two types:

Scholarship for SchoolsThe Beacon Scholarship for Schools

(for candidates aged 13-18)

Up to five new scholarships are available each academic year for secondary schooling. Applicants are eligible at any age up to 18 years, and must gain entry to a Beacon School. Applications are evaluated by The Beacon Equity Trust for evidence of academic ability, leadership potential and financial need.

Scholarship for University The Beacon Scholarship for University

(for candidates aged 18-21)

Up to five new undergraduate Beacon Scholarships for University are offered each academic year, one to each Beacon Partner University. Candidates must be Nominated by their current School Head, and once they have an offer of admission, they will be invited to apply for a Beacon Scholarship for University. They will then be evaluated by the Beacon Equity Trust for evidence of academic ability, leadership potential and financial need.
