Aloyce Hagila

Aloyce previously attended Dar es Salaam International School, where he was frequently top of his class. He has shown high academic achievement across the curriculum, particularly in maths where he was commended for his outstanding performance.

Aloyce is a keen basketball and football player and has captained his school teams. He enjoys debate and is a skilled public speaker, winning Best Public Speaking Award in ‘Climate Change Solution Week Debate’ in 2022.

Aloyce is always ready to take on leadership roles and has held the position of Secretary of the Student Council, inspiring fellow pupils with his ideas to clean the beach and parts of Dar es Salaam. He is seen as someone who is as at the forefront of class activities, naturally taking the lead amongst his peers.

An active citizen, Aloyce founded and was co-captain of the school Charity Club which organised visits to orphanages, hospitals and local schools; he also helps with the children’s church service each week and runs a ‘Kits for Kids' charity.
